I want to take a second to introduce yall to the relatively new concept of “Social Money.”

I know what you’re thinking… Social… Money??

Yeah…

So… Social Money!

There are several platforms that allow you to create your own social token or “creator coin”, like Coinvise, Rally or Roll, to name a few. These platforms use blockchain technology to bring social money to life. As a creator, they allow you to bring value to your favorite social platforms.

Roll, Roll Support Page

Social money is a branded digital currency that’s specific to a creator on the Roll platform. Each social money is scarce and allows a creator to reward their existing followers for the actions that matter to them across the web.

Roll provides creators with an interface to share social money with their followers on other platforms and set up their own Offers, or ways to for their followers to redeem social money for unique experiences across the web.

Roll sees social money as a way for creators to truly own the value they create on the web in the next decade.

Social Money (also referred to as social tokens) gives creators and the community and fans access to the world of WEB3. Now, you can take part in your favorite creator’s community and participate in ways that weren’t available to us previously. You can even set up rewards on your Opensea page.

Roll will use social money in the context of these online communities centered around a creator, to unlock the value of these social interactions.

The Roll wallet provides lots of features to help the creators and can be plugged into a list of tools like Metamask or Trust Wallet, Opensea and Uniswap!

There are lots of information on social money but here are a few links to read more!:
